Delivery Terms

In most cases Rent IT can provide overnight deliveries of computer rental equipment to virtually all parts of Mainland UK (please contact us for costs and schedules for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islandsand other offshore locations). Our standard delivery is pre noon next working day however where there is an urgent requirement pre 10.30am, pre 9am and Saturday deliveries can be provided at additional cost. If this extra service is required please check with our sales staff first to ensure this is available for your location.
Please note that pre 9am delivery can be anytime from 7.30am to 9am.

Charges for deliveries are based on consignment weight. Packed weights of items are shown on our specification sheets but these do not take into account situations where a number of items are packed in a larger box or transit case. If you require clarification on this please talk to our sales staff who will be pleased to confirm accurate freight costs for your particular consignment.

Freight charges will normally include costs for collection of goods at the end of the rental. Collections will normally take place in the afternoon and goods should be ready for collection from 2pm onwards. Later collections, as well as timed collections, can be undertaken but they are at an additional cost and dependant on area and couriers. Other specialist services such as same day deliveries and installation services are available in some areas. These extras services are priced on a case by case basis and you should speak to your Rent IT contact to confirm costs and availability.

If you are renting a “large” item then we have specific instructions regarding these. Please ask our Rent IT sales staff for a copy of these to ensure you are fully aware of what is required when renting some of our larger products.

When arranging equipment deliveries please ensure you provide:-

  • Delivery name & address
  • Contact name
  • Contact telephone number
  • Stand number (for exhibition deliveries)
  • Any other information e.g. any specific delivery times etc

If you require us to collect equipment at end of rental period please ensure you provide:-

  • Collection name and address
  • Contact name (very important especially where collecting from exhibitions, hotels etc)
  • Contact telephone number

Please be aware that if we cannot collect equipment when scheduled equipment hire rates will continue and if goods are not eventually returned you will be charged for full replacement value.
